OCWA 2022 Summer Series

Orange County Wrestling Association:

Covers all southern California including all Orange County cities and surrounding cities.

SUMMER SERIES TOURNAMENT DETAILS:
Folkstyle Tournament & Takedown Tournament (Kids Beginner & Advanced, Middle School, Girls High School JV & Varsity, Boys High School JV & Varsity)

Registration:
$20 per weight, per style, and per division.
Please note - must pre-register no later than 8pm night before.

Morning of registration in person:
$30 per weight, per style, and per division.

*USA Cards will be required to wrestle.

Weigh Ins:
Pre-Registered Athletes:
Enter exact weight online and we will spot check at check in.

Unregistered Athletes:
Athletes whom DID NOT register ON-LINE.
Must Register and Weigh-ins per check in times below.
$30 per division, weight, and style.

Please note, we highly discourage any weight cutting, we will spot check kids day of tournament, kids must be within 3 lbs of weight entered during pre-registration, if overweight Coach and Wrestler will be pulled from tournament (no refund).

Wrestling Check In / Start Time (tentative):
Kids and Middle School: 7:00-8:00a Check-in / Wrestling Starts 8:30a
Junior Varsity (Boys & Girls): 8:00-10:00a Check-in / Wrestling Starts 10:30a
Varsity (Boys & Girls): 11:00-12:30 Check-in / Wrestling Starts 1:00p

All Wrestlers:
Failure to check in before deadline will be removed from bracket and no refund.

Weight Classes:
Pooled brackets, double elimination

Medals:
Top 3 per weight class

Divisions:
- Kids (bracketed based on age) Beginner and Advanced.
- Schoolboy/Middle School
- High School Boys: JV and Varsity
- High School Girls: JV and Varsity
